Welcome!
From May 18-22, 2026, we organize a workshop on eruptive young stars at the Konkoly Observatory in Budapest, Hungary in hybrid format. Due to the capacity of the venue, on-site participation will be limited to about 40 participants.
The workshop will cover various topics related to eruptive young stars from both an observational and a theoretical perspective, including:
- Episodic accretion from low-mass to high-mass objects
- Eruptive young stars at various evolutionary stages: from protostars to pre-main sequence stars
- From individual targets to statistical samples
- Recent discoveries from sky surveys
- Impact of eruptions on the environment
- Relation between accretion and ejection
- Chemistry of eruptive YSO disks
- Binaries, multiple systems
- MHD simulations
